This past year I started working for an organization called Youth Unlimited. I love working for this organization - I continue to be amazed at how it's run and the lives it is impacting. One of the other perks of my job is that I get to work with some pretty amazing people! When I first started working for YU, my boss told me about Vanessa, and how I'd "love her". I'm always sort of shy when I start working somewhere new, but I spent a weekend (mostly with Vanessa!) at a work retreat up north. We had SO much fun together and that's where our friendship bloomed!
When Vanessa asked me to do her engagement pictures I was so honoured! Not only that, but she suggested a 50's theme - ummmm yes! Her and Anthony went above and beyond with preparing for their shoot. They rented an old vintage car (whose owner is the cutest old man ever!), found the perfect kitchen, brought multiple costumes, and even their own stylist (Ayesha!). This was a dream come true for me, and something I've been wanting to do for awhile!
Vanessa & Anthony are one of those couples you just instantly feel comfortable with- no questions asked. They are also the kind of couple who you know are headed for amazing things in their lives together, both being people who you know will dedicate their lives to others. It was an absolute honour to capture your day, V & A - and I look forward to many more years of friendship!
